A month after selecting him in the Re-Entry Draft, FC Cincinnati have agreed to a deal with former FC Dallas winger Roland Lamah, the club announced Tuesday.

Lamah, 31, brings valuable experience to the expansion squad. He spent the previous two seasons with Dallas, where he made 61 appearances, scored 19 goals and added nine assists.

A native of the Ivory Coast, Lamah will occupy an international roster spot for Cincinnati.

“We are pleased to add Roland to our group,” FC Cincinnati head coach Alan Koch said in a team statement. “He has proven his ability everywhere he has been, including the last two seasons in MLS. His pace and ability to get behind the defense will provide a dynamic quality to our attack.”

In addition to his time in MLS with Dallas, Lamah has played professionally in Belgium, England, France, Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain during the course of his 12-year professional career. He has made 361 appearances, scored 67 goals and added 55 assists across all competitions.

FC Cincinnati will begin their inaugural MLS campaign on March 2, away to Seattle, and make their home debut as an MLS team on March 17, when they host the Portland Timbers.
