Minnesota United captain Francisco Calvo is a wanted man — but the Loons aren't going to sell for cheap.

According to Costa Rican outlet Yashin Quesada, who quotes Calvo's agent, Minnesota United rejected a $2 million offer out of hand, saying they won't negotiate for anything less than $4 million.

Calvo, 26, has made 53 appearances in defense for Minnesota since signing ahead of the 2017 season. The Costa Rican international was named to Concacaf's Best XI for 2018.  He appeared in two matches at the 2018 World Cup and has registered over 35 caps with Los Ticos.
