The 2019 MLS head coaches' photo is the largest in league history

MLS coaches - 2019 picture

Ahead of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, all 24 head coaches at clubs across MLS came together to pose for what was the largest annual MLS coaches' photo yet.

The photo includes six bosses who have yet to manage an MLS match: FC Cincinnati's Alan Koch (top row, far left), Atlanta United's Frank de Boer (second row, far left), the LA Galaxy's Guillermo Barros Schelotto (top row, fourth from right), FC Dallas' Luchi Gonzalez (top row, third from right) the San Jose Earthquakes' Matias Almeyda (top row, second from right) and the Vancouver Whitecaps' Marc Dos Santos (far right).

Also of note: There is no position of honor (with a coach holding a game ball) this year, with MLS Cup winner Tata Martino departing Atlanta following the season. In the top row, Atlantic Cup rival bosses Chris Armas and Ben Olsen are side by side. And just below them are Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley's head coach, Greg Vanney, next to Bradley's dad, LAFC manager Bob Bradley.
