Dominic Kinnear will reportedly remain on the LA Galaxy coaching staff as an assistant coach under Guillermo Barros Schelotto.
According to a tweet by Kevin Baxter of the LA Times, Kinnear, who closed out the 2018 season as an interim coach and is the third-winningest coach in MLS history, will be part of Schelotto’s staff.

Schelotto was named Galaxy coach on Wednesday. Kinnear took over after the late Sigi Schmid resigned in September and helped orchestrate a late-season playoff push that fell just short following a Decision Day home loss to the Houston Dynamo.
Kinnear has won two MLS Cups, in 2006 and 2007 in Houston, and four conference championships — two East and two West.
