On Tuesday morning, Manchester United parted ways with Jose Mourinho and now the Special One is without a job.
With the likes of LA Galaxy, Atlanta United and Columbus Crew SC still seeking to fill their vacant posts for 2019, some social media speculation suggested that an MLS club might want to make a run at the Portuguese tactician.
And there are some connections that will help fuel that conversation: Mourinho has a strong relationship with Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as well as Inter Miami CF co-owner David Beckham, who will soon be looking to line up a manager for his expansion club.
There's also the fact that Mourinho admitted a few years back that he would like to coach in MLS "one day."
Let the rumor mill begin:
José Mourinho needs a job. LA Galaxy needs a coach. José and Ibrahimovic could be the best tag-team villain combo in MLS history. Let's make it happen.
