To build on a successful 2018, the Philadelphia Union are reportedly set to bolster their attack options with Brazilian striker Sergio Santos.
Santos, 24, currently plays for Chilean club Audax Italiano and has scored 19 goals in 42 appearances with the club. He led his team with nine goals this season.
In an interview on Chilean radio station ADN, via AS, Santos established that he was planning on departing the Chilean side, and that he had chosen Philadelphia over Liga MX's Necaxa because Union representatives had come to see him in person.
The Union have some room for depth at the striker position after not renewing the contract of reserve Jay Simpson, an Englishman who arrived in 2017 with considerable fanfare but made only eight appearances this season.
