Big Boi the latest Atlanta music star to hammer Five Stripes' Golden Spike

Big Boi, rapper and one half of the famous hip hop duo Outkast, became the latest star guest of Atlanta United to hammer the golden spike in one of MLS' most unique rituals, before a Leg 1 win in the Eastern Conference Championship on Sunday.

Big Boi joins a list of who's who among Atlanta celebrities to take part in the ritual, including fellow rap icons Waka Flocka (an avid Five Stripes fan), T-Pain and 2 Chainz, as well as reknowned country artist Zac Brown and former Atlanta Braves great Andruw Jones.

He even had a kickabout postgame, in which he snapped this finish between the ghostman goalkeeper and the near post:

With Atlanta favored to host MLS Cup after their emphatic 3-0 victory over in the New York Red Bulls, there may be one more spike hammering left this year. But just who would be given the honor?
