According to AS, NYCFC have lined up Real Betis striker Sergio Leon to replace Villa should the Spanish legend leave.

Leon, 29, has had a nomadic career in Spain, bouncing between teams. He's had the most success with Reus, Elche, Osasuna before returning to Real Betis in 2017. This season he has one goal in seven appearances across all competitions after scoring 12 goals in 31 La Liga appearances last year.
