Brothers Matt and Nick Besler made some history when they faced off in the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinal clash between Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake on Sunday, becoming just the second set of siblings ever to do so in an MLS postseason match.
In doing so, the Besler brothers, who also both appeared in the second and final regular-season meeting of these two teams, join DaMarcus Beasley (now with the Houston Dynamo) and his brother Jamar, who dueled back in 2000:

Kansas City outlet KSHB spoke to the proud papa for a feature story earlier this week, which noted that the Beslers (who are KC-area residents) expected about 25 family members to attend Sunday's game.
