Wright-Phillips, Gerso earn first FIFA 19 Team of the Week nods

The accolades for his hat-trick against D.C. United just keeps coming for New York Red Bulls' striker Bradley Wright-Phillips. 

A day after being named Alcatel MLS Player of the Week, Wright-Phillips has earned a spot in the first FIFA 19 Team of the Week, alongside Sporting Kansas City winger Gerso Fernandes. 

Each one of BWP's three goals tied the game for the Red Bulls at Audi Field, including a 90th-minute equalizer in their 3-3 draw. He now has 19 goals on the season, second only to record-breaker Josef Martinez's 29 goals.

Meanwhile, Gerso scored twice and added two assists in SKC's 5-1 rout of San Jose on the road. He now has five goals and five assists this season in 1,332 minutes. 

Other stars include Chelsea's Eden Hazard, RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and PSV's Mexican star Hirving Lozano. FIFA 19 will be fully released on Sept. 28.
