Antoine Griezmann tasted World Cup glory with France at Russia 2018 this summer and continues to battle in the thick of the La Liga title race as a key performer for Atletico Madrid – yet he’s got MLS on his mind.

During an interview with leading French sports publication L’Equipe published on Saturday, the star striker spoke of his plans to move Stateside in the future, and he’s already got two locations in mind, starting with Inter Miami CF, the 2020 expansion project being led by one of his sporting idols, David Beckham.

“If he [Beckham] wants me in his club, then I'll go. I want to finish my career in the US,” said Griezmann. “I don't know yet if it's going to be in Miami or LA. They are two great cities. I like the mentality and the show culture of the United States.”

It’s not the first time the 27-year-old has shown his appreciation for MLS and North American sports. He’s been a regular vacationer on these shores, taking in an LA Galaxy game at StubHub Center last year and last month publicly hinting at a future reunion with his former Real Sociedad teammate Carlos Vela, now the face of the franchise at LAFC.
