Red Bulls, Timbers supporters unveil strong tifo efforts for rivalry games

Few things get hard-core fans more amped up than a showdown with their team's most bitter adversaries, and supporters of the New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers definitely brought their A game on their tifo displays for visits from D.C. United and the Seattle Sounders, respectively, as Heineken Rivalry Week concluded on Sunday. 

The RBNY faithful took aim at D.C. superstar Wayne Rooney with their effort, unleashing a sharp piece of banter based on the bird of prey featured on United's crest and the English legend's well-known hair implants procedure to address his receding hairline a few years ago:

Meanwhile the Timbers Army rolled out a darker offering, using a creepy tagline from Stephen King's "It" and the horror movie it inspired to threaten a nasty fate for the team they prefer to call the "Flounders"...
