The 27-year-old, currently playing his club soccer at Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal's top division, would be a TAM acquisition according to the report, through a rumored transfer fee of $5 million might prove an obstacle to the move.

Hurtado, able to play both winger and striker, featured as a sub in Peru's sole World Cup win, 2-0 over Australia on June 26. Last season, for Vitoria Guimaraes, he scored 15 goals in 33 appearances.
