Is MLS in Marko Marin’s immediate future?
The 29-year-old former German international is reportedly mulling offers from MLS after spending the last two seasons at Olympiacos in Greece.
According to published reports out of Serbia, Marin is set to make a move to Red Star Belgrade in 2020, but could come to MLS or play in China in the meantime.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wing, competed for Germany at the 2010 World Cup and came up through the Borussia Monchengladbach system, breaking through with Borussia Monchengladbach II before his promotion to the first team in 2007.
From there he went to Werder Bremen and Chelsea, with loans to Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlacht and Trabzonspor before making the move to Olympiacos in 2016, where he scored 11 goals in 37 appearances.
