After making a move within MLS ahead of the current season, could Carlos Rivas be next on the move outside of the league?

It could happen, according to a report out of Colombia on Wednesday, which claimed the New York Red Bulls attacker is set to move to Colombian powerhouse Atletico Nacional on a one-year loan, with a subsequent option to buy.

Rivas, 24, has scored two goals in five MLS regular season appearances for the Red Bulls this season. The Colombian was traded to New York in the offseason, after playing three seasons for Orlando City, where he scored eight goals and 13 assists in 78 league games.

Rivas got his start as a 16-year-old in his native country with Once Caldas in 2012. The following year, he moved to Deportivo Cali, before signing for Orlando City as a Designated Player for the Lions' inaugural season in MLS.
