The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended one player following Week 13 of the MLS regular season.


Fuenmayor serious foul play

The Disciplinary Committee has issued a two-game suspension to Houston Dynamo defender Alejandro Fuenmayor for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent. The incident took place in the 14th minute of the Dynamo's game against New York City FC, when Fuenmayor tackled NYCFC midfielder Yangel Herrera. Fuenmayor, who was originally shown a yellow card on the play, was also fined an undisclosed amount. He will serve his suspensions during the Dynamo's away games against Real Salt Lake on May 30 and the Montreal Impact on June 2.
