TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Rumor
Less than two months until the next transfer window opens in MLS, and a new report has emerged that Vancouver Whitecaps FC may be looking at a forward.
Argentine-based journalist Nahuel Ferreira reported on Twitter on Sunday that the player in question is Uruguayan forward Facundo Barcelo.

Barcelo, 25, has spent his entire career to date in South America. Starting out at Montevideo's Liverpool FC, he moved on to El Tanque Sisley and Juventud, also in Uruguay, before heading to Argentina to play for first-division side San Martin de San Juan.
As the report indicates, Barcelo is apparently drawing interest from a variety of clubs, including Brazilian side Vitoria and Liga MX's Pachuca, in addition to the rumored Whitecaps interest.
