Red Bulls, Lions rise in the East

Kaku's first MLS goal stood up as the winner in the New York Red Bulls' 3-1 victory over Saturday visitors Montreal. RBNY have taken their first three home games of the season by a 10-1 count. RECAP

On Friday night, Orlando City notched their third straight victory by topping hosts Philadelphia, 2-0. Dom Dwyer and Chris Mueller netted first half goals for the surging Lions. RECAP

Quintero debuts as Timbers, Rapids win at home

Portland celebrated their home opener by grabbing their first victory of the season, as Diego Valeri's goal and assist aided a 3-2 decision over pesky Minnesota United. Over in Colorado, the Rapids took advantage of reserve-laden Toronto FC side to post a 2-0 home win. Joe Price and Shkelzen Gashi found the net, while Colorado also kept the champs without a goal in league play at Dick's Sporting Goods Park for 392 minutes. RECAP

One is enough for FC Dallas, D.C.
