Toronto FC land in Mexico 5 days ahead of Champions League semi vs. America

Toronto FC arrived in Mexico on Thursday, five days before their Concacaf Champions League semifinal 2nd leg next Tuesday (10 pm ET on Univision Deportes, TSN, go90.com).

The Reds will enter the match with a two-goal, aggregate-goal advantage which history indicates as giving them a great chance to advance to their first Champions League final. They would become the first MLS team to reach that stage since the Montreal Impact in 2015

The reigning MLS Cup champions landed in the city of Puebla and trekked to Pachuca, where they will train for Tuesday's decisive clash on Pachuca's training ground.

The squad will then move to Mexico City on Monday, where they'll do a stadium walkthrough at the Estadio Azteca on the day before the match.

While Toronto FC moved their April 7 MLS league match vs. D.C. United to June 13, Club America will be in Liga MX action on Saturday night at Necaxa.
