TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Could Matthew Olosunde be returning to the New York Red Bulls organization?
The former RBNY Academy standout, who is on Manchester United’s books but yet to play with the first team, might be interested in a loan deal, according to Kristian Dyer on his Red Bulls Insider segment on MSG Network Saturday night.
Citing sources, Dyer said the Red Bulls would welcome back the 20-year-old right back with open arms and that the club has “had certain levels of conversations about the possibility with his representation.”
MLSsoccer.com Senior Writer Matt Doyle suggested the possible move in a tweet three weeks ago.
Wonder if this will be balanced by – from #RBNY's perspective – Olosunde returning. Kid's not breaking through for ManU any time soon and he'd certainly get a chance to win major minutes in Harrison.https://t.co/gCalktaAuf— Matthew Doyle (@MattDoyle76) March 7, 2018
Dyer also said the Red Bulls have no offer on the table for 22-year-old winger Ignacio Pussetto, a teammate of Alejandro Romero “Kaku” Gamarra at Huracan.
