Why just poke home a game-winning shot in a big match when you can backheel it in?
Regardless of how Tuesday's second leg against Tigres UANL goes, Jonathan Osorio has elevated himself into Toronto FC lore with a near-last-gasp game winner Wednesday night, giving the Reds a 2-1 victory in their Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal match.
Had Osorio tried a conventional shot, we might be praising the smart ball movement and even lauding it as a "team goal." Happily, Osorio seized the opportunity to put his stamp on it:
Yeah, you're gonna wanna watch this one again. And again, and again.

A moment of pure magic from @OsoJ92 seals the winner for the Reds.#TFCLive | #TORvTIG | #SCCL2018 pic.twitter.com/UKITbHHguM
And it caught the attention of one Toronto sportswriter keeping tabs:
We have seen Jonathan Osorio try a cheeky backheel so many times. Finally, it worked. #TFCLive https://t.co/Cr6Z0sHIZG

The Osorio backheel is certainly a contender for one of the most impressive goals in Toronto FC history. Depending on how long they can keep their CCL run going, it could end up being one of their most important goals as well.
