Despite posting a last-gasp 3-2 victory over CONCACAF Champions League guests Tauro FC on Wednesday night, FC Dallas bowed out of the tournament on away goals by a 3-3 aggregate count. Maxi Urruti, Mauro Diaz and Cristian Colman found the net for the home side, but their rally try fell short. RECAP
CCL doubleheader on tap tonight
The New York Red Bulls will try to turn a 1-1 aggregate tie into advancement to the Champions League quarterfinals when they host Thursday's deciding leg against Honduran side Olimpia (8 pm ET | UDN; UnivisionDeportes.com, go90.com). The Red Bulls are 3-0-2 in the last five tourney games in their friendly confines, with all three of those against foreign foes ending in shutout wins. PREVIEW
In Thursday's late Champions League tilt (10 pm ET | UDN; UnivisionDeportes.com, go90.com), injury-hit Seattle returns home hoping to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit to El Salvador's Santa Tecla.
