TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
A report from Colombia claims LAFC may look to South America to bolster their midfield.
Colombia-based reporter Julian Capera reported on Twitter on Monday that the 2018 MLS expansion team are moving to bring midfielder Eduard Atuesta in on loan for the season from Independiente Medellin, although the deal is not yet complete:
Atuesta, 20, has spent his entire career to date with Independente Medellin, making 44 appearances across all competitions for the side, including in the Copa Sudamericana.
A holding midfielder, Atuesta would appear to fill a position of need for LAFC, who begin their inaugural season on Sunday against the Seattle Sounders (5 pm ET | ESPN).
