The 23-year-old ended his college career with 28 shutouts and a 0.96 goals-against average across 71 starts as the Bulldogs qualified for the NCAA tournament in his final two seasons.

A native of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Smith, 22, split his college career between Oregon State University (2014-15) and the University of Denver (2016-17), making 80 appearances at the NCAA Division I level. A center back and holding midfielder, he registered six goals and seven assists in his final two seasons as the Denver Pioneers reached their first-ever College Cup in 2016.
