D.C. United announced on Thursday the venues for two early-season home games prior to the opening of Audi Field this summer.
The team will host the Houston Dynamo at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland on March 17 (1:30 pm ET | MLS LIVE), and will play Columbus Crew SC at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland on April 14 (7 pm ET | MLS LIVE).
The SoccerPlex is a familiar venue for D.C. United, as they have frequently hosted U.S. Open Cup games there, including a tie against local amateur side Christos FC last year. It will be the first competitive game for the club at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Single game tickets for these two matches go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 am ET on the team website, starting at $20 for the April 14th match and $25 for the March 17 game. An exclusive pre-sale window for these two matches began on Thursday for Season Ticket Members, after United notified Season Ticket Members in December that they would not be automatically charged for home games not played at Audi Field.
D.C. United's new stadium, Audi Field, will open on July 14 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC (7 pm ET | MLS LIVE; TSN in Canada).
