FC Dallas midfielder Michael Barrios may be a coveted commodity, but FC Dallas isn't keen on sending him anywhere.
According to a report out of Colombia, Colombian side Atlético Junior is looking at Barrios as a possible attacking reinforcement for the 2018 season.
In response, an FC Dallas spokesperson told MLSsoccer.com, "We’re planning to have Michael Barrios be a key contributor for FC Dallas in 2018."
Barrios spent the first four years of his career with Uniautonoma in his native Colombia, where he scored 35 goals in 136 appearances. He’s played for Dallas for the last three seasons, logging 19 goals and 18 assists in 6,765 minutes. His 14 assists last season was tied for the fourth highest total in MLS.
