TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report

Two of the LA Galaxy’s offseason acquisitions have reportedly been locked up.

According to a report from ESPN's Jeff Carlisle, the Galaxy signed goalkeeper David Bingham and midfielder Servando Carrasco to new contracts.

Bingham came over to LA in a Dec. 18 trade with the San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for $100,000 of General Allocation Money (GAM) and $100,000 of Targeted Allocation Money (TAM), plus another $50,000 of GAM in 2019 if Bingham hits certain incentives this coming season. He had been the Quakes’ starter for much of the last three seasons but had lost his spot to Andrew Tarbell late in the 2017 campaign.

The 28-year-old ’keeper reportedly signed a two-year deal with a club option for a third while Carraso inked a one-year deal after being selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft on Dec. 21.

Carrasco will be playing for his fifth MLS team following stints with Seattle, Houston, Sporting Kansas City and Orlando City, where he spent the last three seasons.
