TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Bundesliga veteran Dominik Kaiser used his winter break to visit New York City and, apparently, the digs of his team's sister club.
According to local German paper LVZ, Red Bull Leipzig's all-time appearance leader dropped by the New York Red Bulls during his holiday to the Big Apple and said he could imagine himself playing there.
The 29-year-old Kaiser has played with Leipzig since the 2012-13 season, helping the upstart club ascend through the lower rungs of Germany's football pyramid.
But he's made only eight league starts since Leipzig debuted in the top flight in the 2016-17 campaign, and played only 127 Bundesdliga minutes this season. He also has one UEFA Champions League appearance this past fall.
Before moving to Leipzig, Kaiser had played in 10 Bundesliga matches with TSG Hoffenheim.
