Sami Khedira is once again being linked with a move to MLS.
Italian outlet Tuttosport reported this week that the German midfielder is considering a move to the league when his Juventus contract expires in the summer of 2019. Khedira, 30, has three goals in 13 Serie A appearances this season. He scored five goals in 31 league games for Juventus last year.
The former Real Madrid man has been linked with an MLS move in the past, with NYCFC reportedly in the mix for him in 2016. A full German international since 2009, Khedira has 72 career appearances on the international level, helping Germany to the 2014 World Cup title. In addition to his World Cup, Khedira has won two Serie A titles, one La Liga crown and one UEFA Champions League.
He’s said in the past that he would one day play in the US.
