Kekuta Manneh might not move to Europe after all.
Kristian Dyer reported on Wednesday morning that Manneh, who was on trial last week with 2. Bundesliga club Union Berlin, will likely return to the league in 2018.
Despite trial in Germany, hearing Kekuta Manneh likely ends up in MLS in 2018.— Kristian Dyer (@KristianRDyer) December 13, 2017
Manneh, 22, is currently out of contract. He spent most of last season with Columbus Crew SC, recording four goals and three assists in 19 regular season appearances after being acquired in a trade from Vancouver in March.
One of the fastest players in the entire league, Manneh has 26 goals and 15 assists in 120 career regular season appearances and 71 starts.
Because Columbus offered him a contract after the season, they retain his MLS rights. If he wants to join any team besides Crew SC, it'll have to be via trade.
