A report out of Belgium states that Sporting Kansas City are clinching an agreement with KV Mechelen for French attacking midfielder Yohan Croizet.
Croizet, who turns 26 in February, is a playmaker who joined the Belgian first-division side last year for a club-record fee, but has struggled for consistency and is now set for a winter move to MLS, according to Voetbal Belgie.
He began his pro career with Metz in his homeland before moving on to Belgium, where he's played for Virton and OH Leuven in addition to Mechelen.
A steady stream of talent with Belgian ties has arrived in MLS in recent years, including Sasha Kljestan, Frederic Brillant, Victor Vazquez and Maxime Chanot.
