Michael Murillo has emerged as an important member of the New York Red Bulls' defense in recent months, and as a result could be set to remain with the team beyond this season.
That's the report from WFAN's Glenn Crooks on Wednesday:
Murillo, 21, has spent this season on loan with the Red Bulls from Panamanian side San Francisco FC. After making his MLS debut in May, the Panama international made 17 appearances during the MLS regular season before starting Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Chicago Fire in the Knockout Round of the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs.
