David Villa ties Bradley Wright-Phillips for MLS record

On Saturday night at Toyota Park, hosts the Chicago Fire and New York City FC played to a 1-1 draw. The visitors' goal came courtesy of NYC captain David Villa -- and that made for his 20th goal of the season.

With that, he tied Bradley Wright-Phillips of the rival New York Red Bulls for an MLS record. Both are now the only players in the league, to date, to mark two seasons of 20 goals or more.

Meanwhile, for the Fire, Nemanja Nikolic also tallied his 21st, heating up the Golden Boot race for this season. Stay tuned to see who pulls ahead in a dramatic race to the finish!
