Tied Up: New England Revolution equal record for most draws to start season

The New England Revolution have not done a whole lot of winning thus far in 2016, but they also have not done much losing.

The Revolution have settled for draws more often than not this season. The club has tied in seven of its first 10 games, with Saturday's 2-2 stalemate with Orlando City being the latest.

Those draws have New England sitting on a frustrating 1-2-7 record, which equals the amount for most draws to start a season in MLS history, per the Elias Sports Bureau. The other clubs to have done the same – and with identical records – are the 2015 Colorado Rapids and 2006 New York Red Bulls.

The MLS record for most draws in a season is 18, which was set by the Chicago Fire (2014).

The Revolution will be aiming to avoid another draw and collect three points on Sunday afternoon when they visit the LA Galaxy at StubHub Center (3:30 pm ET, ESPN and MLS LIVE).
