The Montreal Impact will be looking for some punch in their 401 Derby game on Saturday against Toronto FC (4 pm ET; TSN4, RDS in Canada, MLS LIVE in the US).

They'll get that punch, and then some, from a native son in the stands at Stade Saputo.

Impact supporters group 1642 MTL, who are the keepers of the "North Star" bell that rings in the stadium when Montreal score at home games, announced on Wednesday that mixed martial arts star Georges St-Pierre will be the honorary bell-ringer for Saturday's game.

St-Pierre, 34, is a Quebec native and one of the most popular and successful UFC fighters of his generation. A two-time UFC Welterweight champion, GSP (as he is known to fans of the sport) hasn't fought professionally since November 2013, although he hasn't ruled out getting back into the octagon in the future.
