Real Salt Lake midfielder Sebastian Saucedo wins Copa MX with Veracruz

Veracruz took home the 2016 Clausura Copa MX prize on Wednesday, and one MLS player shared the title.

Sebastian Saucedo, a Real Salt Lake Homegrown midfielder currently on loan at Veracruz, celebrated with his teammates after Los Tiburones Rojos defeated Ascenso MX side Necaxa 4-1.

Saucedo, 19, did not make the matchday 18 for Wednesday's final, but he played five times in the tournament this season, scoring one goal.

Former Chicago Fire midfielder Benji Joya was in the 18 for Necaxa, but did not play on Wednesday.
