Transfer season may be starting to heat up.
On Tuesday, several MLS teams were linked to foreign players, the most notable being AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino.
Orlando City are reportedly interested in Nocerino joining KakĆ” in their midfield for 2016. The 30-year-old Nocerino, who has earned 15 caps for the Italian national team, has been with Milan since 2011 but was sent out on loan the last two years, most recently to Parma. He previously played for Juventus and Palermo.
Elsewhere, New York City FC are reportedly trying to lure left back RĆ³nald Matarrita, a 21-year-old left back whoās currently with Costa Ricaās Alajuelense and has already debuted for the Costa Rican national team.
Alajuelense club director Marco Vasquez confirmed that Matarrita will leave Costa Rica, saying that heāll play āeither in New York or Europe.ā
The Houston Dynamo will also look to bolster their back line and reportedly made an offer to Argentine center back MatĆas Sarulyte. The 26-year-old currently plays for Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata.
