Before the MLS Cup festivities kicked off on the field Sunday afternoon supporters of both Columbus Crew SC and the Portland Timbers got in on the party with some strong tifo game.
Crew SC's Nordecke unveiled an excellent rendition of their city's skyline, which is visible from the top of that supporters' section. The Timbers Army, which traveled in numbers from the West Coast, unveiled a pairt of side-by-side banners, one paying homage to the truck that transported the club's famous 'victory log' across the country and the other with a message of support for their team: "We're gonna do what they say can't be done."
