The 20th MLS Cup is nearly upon us, and to commemorate the anniversary SI.com published a gallery of infographics that look back at the previous 19 finals.
From goal diagrams to match graphics and memorable MLS Cup personalities, a group of designers helped memorialize the league's single-game championship final which has determined the best team in MLS since 1996.
The latest edition of MLS Cup on Sunday will crown either Columbus Crew SC or the Portland Timbers (4 pm ET, ESPN, UniMás in US, TSN1/4, RDS2 in Canada). A victory would mark the second title in Crew history, while the Timbers are seeking their very first MLS Cup trophy.
