Gold Cup: Clint Dempsey wins Golden Boot as CONCACAF announces 2015 award winners

Mexico lift 2015 Gold Cup trophy

It will be scant consolation for a US national team whose tournament ended with a sorely disappointing fourth-place finish, but two USMNT players won top honors for their Gold Cup exploits as the event concluded in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Seattle Sounders star Clint Dempsey was awarded with the Gold Cup's Golden Boot as tournament top scorer with seven goals in the USMNT's seven games, while Brad Guzan earned the Golden Glove award as its top goalkeeper.

Moments after winning their seventh Gold Cup title with a 3-1 win over Jamaica, Mexico saw two of their top performers recognized, while Jamaica won the Fair Play award as they carved out their best-ever finish in the tournament.
