Carlos Tevez - Transfer Watch

One of the biggest names in world soccer was linked with a possible future move to Major League Soccer on Tuesday, when Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl reported that agents for Juventus forward Carlos Tevez have discussed his potentially joining an MLS club.

Tevez, 31, has lit up Serie A this season, leading the Italian top flight with 20 goals. He scored the decisive penalty in Juventus’s 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal last week, and is likely to start again for the Italian giants in Wednesday’s return match in Spain. He has one year left on his contract in Turin.

The former Manchester United, Manchester City and Boca Juniors player has been a full Argentine international since 2004, recording 13 goals in 66 career caps for his country. He is on Argentina’s 30-man provisional roster for the upcoming Copa América in Chile.
