Will the US national team be sporting a new look at the 2016 Copa America Centenario? | SIDELINE

An image of a new USMNT jersey began making the rounds in April 2015

Could next year's centennial edition of the Copa America bring with it a new US national team jersey?

A new-look US shirt began making the rounds on social media this week and the speculation indicated it could be the kit that the Americans will use when they take to the field for the highly-anticipated 2016 Copa America that will be played in the United States.

The US just debuted their new, all-blue away jersey in the most recent friendlies against Denmark and Switzerland, but their current home uniforms could be due for a makeover next year if the US Soccer Federation sticks to the tradition of releasing new jerseys every two years.

The latest jersey image is reminiscent of the road jerseys the US released before the 2014 World Cup and popularly referred to as the "bomb pop" shirt. It would be a definite departure from the current home jersey that is almost entirely white and features a collar.
