VIDEO: Vancouver Whitecaps fans serenade head coach Carl Robinson on his birthday | SIDELINE

Vancouver Whitecaps head coach Robinson is feeling the love — and doling out plenty of it, too — these days.

On Friday, the first-year Whitecaps manager led his side to a 1-0 road victory against the Seattle Sounders that clinched the 2014 Cascadia Cup, becoming the first Cascadia team to retain the trophy during the MLS era of the Whitecaps, Sounders and Portland Timbers (FULL STANDINGS HERE).

This obviously pleased Whitecaps fans greatly, and they responded in kind on Monday — Robinson's 38th birthday — when between 30 and 40 of them showed up to the team's training facility and serenaded their man "Robbo" (above video).

The vibe around Whitecaps headquarters is obviously very positive at the moment, taking into account their capturing of the Cascadia Cup and current hold on the fifth and final Western Conference playoff place. So much so that some of the players got in on the singing, jumping around and flag waving.

Happy birthday, Carl Robinson.
