VIDEO: Arsenal are so eager to visit New York that they're talking like New Yorkers | SIDELINE

Arsenal's Mathieu Flamini in funny video about New York accents

Arsenal have never played in New York (we're not counting that indoor game back in 1986), so you can forgive the Gunners for perhaps being a little overexcited ahead of their upcoming trip to the Big Apple, where they'll play the New York Red Bulls on Saturday (5 pm ET, ESPN).

In fact, to make sure they don't stand out like sore thumbs, Arsenal invested in some language courses for their players, hoping they pick up those essential phrases to survive the streets of Manhattan.

As evidenced by the above video, Carl Jenkinson has been studying especially hard. Even the most diehard New Yorker in MLS, Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke, would be impressed.

Mathieu Flamini, however, might want to keep it simple and remember he's from Marseille, France.
