As long as Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey stay healthy, nobody's catching the Sounders.

Still don't look quite as good as we expected them to at this point in the season, but they keep getting results.

  • Last Week: Won at Montreal, 2-1
  • Last Five: L-W-W-D-W
  • This Week: Wednesday at Columbus (7:30 pm; MLS LIVE)
    Saturday vs. LA (6 pm, ESPN2, TSN2)

Three straight road wins while mixing and matching attackers and blooding young defenders. Ben Olsen has done really, really well this year.

  • Last Week: Won at San Jose, 2-1
  • Last Five: D-W-L-W-W
  • This Week: Sunday vs. Chivas USA (8 pm; Univ. Dep.)

At 2-0 down, we were going to call this a mini-crisis. Then they bombed forward repeatedly and that scoreline says it all.

In their last seven games, they've been shut out four times and have scored multiple goals only once. Sabo can't get healthy soon enough.

It's been pretty hit-and-miss in the attack, but the fact is that LA haven't lost a game in two months. This is classic Bruce Arena stuff.

  • Last Week: Won vs. RSL, 1-0
  • Last Five: D-D-W-D-W
  • This Week: Wednesday vs. New England (10:30 pm; MLS LIVE)
Saturday at Kansas City (6 pm; ESPN2, TSN2)

They've followed up an eight-game unbeaten run by losing two of three. It's clear that they need to outscore teams at this point; winning with defense is not a thing the 'Caps can do.

Dillon Powers had his learning experience last week. Shane O'Neill got his this week. Got to check over your shoulder, kid.

Thierry Henry on "God Mode" is still a sight to behold.

  • Last Week: Won vs. Columbus, 4-1
  • Last Five: D-W-D-D-W
  • This Week: Wednesday at Philadelphia (7 pm; ESPN2/Deportes)
Saturday at Chicago (8:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Seem to have rode out most of the injuries, and are just about done with the suspensions. This team is poised to make a big summertime run.

  • Last Week: Bye
  • Last Five: L-W-D-D-W
  • This Week: Saturday vs. New England (9 pm; MLS LIVE)

Disciplined defense and a red-hot striker? That's a beautiful combo unless you happen to be facing Chivas TBD.

  • Last Week: Won at Vancouver, 3-1
  • Last Five: D-W-W-W-W
  • This Week: Saturday at D.C. United (8 pm; Univ. Dep.)

After a strong May and early June, the Timbers are now winless in four and still can't stop anybody defensively.

One silly red card per week isn't a good recipe – just ask Dallas. At least the attack has really come around.

Amazing PK save from SeanJohn. We still think that 25 draws is possible for this Fire side – 5-4-25 is doable!

Last: 10

Five-game winning streak followed by a five-game losing streak. Either they bounce back or start a five-game run of draws.

Last: 14

One win in their last 15.

Two weeks ago, it looked like they were starting to turn their season around. Two late collapses later, and ... nope.

Last: 18

Wondo got a goal, but this team's lack of attacking creativity is shocking. Time to try something different.

Last: 19

The attack is starting to be not terrible, but this team had 10 of their expected first-choice XI and still looked helpless defensively.
