It's not technically official yet, but Brazilian superstar midfielder Kaka has arrived in Orlando, Florida, to put pen to paper on a contract with Orlando City SC, who will begin play in Major League Soccer in 2015.
Orlando City President Phil Rawlins tweeted a picture on Monday evening of the former AC Milan player, who terminated his contract with the Italian club recently, with OCSC co-owner Flavio Augusto da Silva after touching down in Orlando:
Lions' supporters were obviously thrilled by the reality that the former World Player of the Year was in town in sign with their club. Hundreds showed up at the Orlando airport to welcome him:
Kaka, 32, is expected to join Orlando City ahead of the 2015 season and reportedly spend the intervening time on loan to hometown side Sao Paulo.
