ALERT: Saturday's Columbus Crew-FC Dallas game postponed, will be played at 2 pm ET Sunday

Saturday evening's Major League Soccer game between the Columbus Crew and FC Dallas has been postponed, the Crew have announced.


Prior to the match, first responders were called to Crew Stadium to address an incident surrounding the inclement weather that delayed the contest. Due to these extenuating circumstances, the match was postponed.


During Saturday's thunderstorm that caused the severe weather delay, an individual was injured during the inclement weather and was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. No other information surrounding the incident is known at this time.


UPDATE: Major League Soccer has confirmed that the previously postponed MLS match between the Columbus Crew and FC Dallas is now rescheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. ET at Columbus Crew Stadium. All tickets previously issued for the match are to be honored at the Crew Stadium gates, which are scheduled to open at 12:30 p.m. ET. Parking is free for all patrons.


If fans are unable to attend the rescheduled match, their ticket can be exchanged in person or by mail at the Crew Stadium Ticket Office by Thursday, July 3 at 12:00 p.m. ET for the following three matches (limitations may apply on select seat locations):


  • Wednesday, July 16 vs. Sporting Kansas City at 7:30 p.m ET.
  • Sunday, September 7 vs. Chivas USA at 7:30 p.m ET.
  • Saturday, September 27 vs. Montreal Impact at 7:30 p.m ET.
