The US national team have been stuck in a yo-yo pattern in recent FIFA World Rankings, but just a week before the World Cup, they're moving up.

A month after dropping one spot to No. 14 overall, the latest FIFA Rankings, released on Thursday, put the USMNT back at No. 13. And in a reversal of the May rankings, the US swapped places with Chile, who are expected to be dark horses in Brazil this month.

In CONCACAF, fellow World Cup-bound sides Mexico moved down one place to No. 20, while Costa Rica made a big move, up six spots to No. 28. Honduras, meanwhile, dropped three slots to No. 33.
