World Cup Memories: Sporting KC's Matt Besler recalls chills & thrill of epic Landon Donovan goal

It's 15 days and counting until the Brazil 2014 World Cup is officially underway and Sporting Kansas City captain Matt Besler won't be watching it on some small TV at home like he did his first one in 1994.


He'll actually play in it.


Besler is on the USA's final 23-man roster which the entire nation will hope can replicate a moment as epic as the 2010 goal that lit up the Kansas City Power & Light District. That's where Besler and the rest of his Sporting Kansas City teammates watched the decisive USA vs. Algeria match together with thousands of other fans.
