Castrol Index Weekly Top 20: In Week 12, Landon Donovan tops this list, too

Landon Donovan has been winning just about everything lately – save a trip to Brazil, it seems – and he's also tops in the latest Castrol Index Weekly rankings, outpacing his LA Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane

Donovan notched two goals and an assist, setting the career MLS goals record and racking up 1832 points in 82 minutes on Sunday.

Week 12 was a fruitful one for the Galaxy, who netted two important home wins over FC Dallas and the Philadelphia Union. Two other standouts from those victories, Leonardo and Gyasi Zardes, have climbed into the top 20 of the Castrol Index rankings as a result.

Houston Dynamo striker Will Bruin finished third overall for his display against San Jose, despite the fact that the Earthquakes won 3-0.

Goalkeepers Jeff Attinella (Real Salt Lake), Steve Clark (Columbus), Jon Busch (San Jose) and Bill Hamid (D.C.) have all cracked the top 10 this week thanks to their role in clean-sheet performances against FCD, Chicago, Houston and Houston, respectively.
